• Wife of a wonderful husband
• Mother of an adopted 7 year old child
• Diagnosed with Huntington’s 9 years ago
• Athlete by conviction and altruistic because of destiny
• Academic background

2. What is Huntington’s Disease?

• It affects 10,000 people in Mexico
• 30,000 family members are at risk
• Longer life span means more diseases
• It’s a community and family affair and not only an individual one

3. Impact that testing positive for HD has caused in your life

• Made me value every moment, every instant
• I adopted my son
• Volunteered at Mexican Association for Huntington’s Disease for 8 years

• Run marathons since 2007: Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, San Antonio, Berlin, Chile and coming up Venezuela.
